Matt Taven Says That Wardlow Is Out Of Action Due To A Knee Injury

Matt Taven says that Wardlow is out of action with a knee injury.

Many fans have been speculating on the status of Wardlow, as the AEW star has been out of action since March 2024. Still, without Wardlow, the Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett) have continued to truck along in AEW, competing in a number of high level matches.

In a recent interview with the Stick To Wrestling podcast, Matt Taven put the speculation to bed and confirmed that Wardlow is dealing with a knee injury.

“Wardlow’s out with a knee injury. As a guy with plenty of knee injuries in the past, they can be tricky, you know what I mean? You start to think they’re one thing, and then you think they’re another, and then you think, oh, I can get away with doing this or that and then it seems to be more serious. I think he’s just trying to figure out what the best kind of treatment plan is to get back on track with that knee.”
