The Drama King has arrived and he's in search of a crown.
After teasing his arrival since Slammiversary on July 17, Matthew Rehwoldt made his IMPACT Wrestling debut at Homecoming, teaming up with Deonna Purrazzo in the mixed tag team tournament.
He asked the audience to imagine a world where the greatest works of art are locked away and wants to make sure that never happens. He continues on, explaining that says he is in IMPACT to create a masterpiece. Side by side with a Virtuosa, his first stroke on the canvas begins with the coronation of a Queen and King.
Matt Striker commented on Rehwoldt's eloquence, saying that he has no need for an aid in English.
The Drama King and The Virtuosa won their first-round match, defeating Swinger Palace's team of Alisha and Hernandez.
