Meiko Satomura has officially called it a career.
The legendary wrestler competed in her retirement match on April 29, teaming with Manami against Aja Kong & Chihiro Hashimoto. Meiko picked up the victory, pinning Kong.
However, Aja asked for five more minutes to team with Meiko, and an impromptu final match occurred with Meiko teaming with Aja to face Senka Akatsuki, Takumi Iroha, Mika Iwata, Chihiro Hashimoto, and YUNA.
Meiko was showered with red streamers after the bout and presented with gifts and flowers.
Video messages aired with Asuka, Kairi Sane, IYO SKY, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shinsuke Nakamura, Devil Masami, Bull Nakano, Akira Hokuto, Lioness Asuka, and Chigusa Nagayo sending in messages.

Meiko began her career in 1995. During her time, she became one of the most respected and influential female wrestlers in history, winning championships in Sendai Girls, Stardom, NXT UK, and more.
