Meiko is currently signed to WWE. She is considered by many fans and peers to be a pioneer of women's wrestling and has competed in Stardom, WCW, Sendai Girls, NJPW, and more organizations throughout her career.
She signed with WWE in 2020 and competed in NXT UK, winning the NXT UK Women's Championship during her time with the brand. She has been competing in Japan throughout 2024.
