Melina says don't believe everything that's on the internet.

Melina previously had a prominent run with WWE, as she was part of MNM with Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury. She later competed as a singles wrestler, and she won the WWE Women's Championship. Melina went on to win the WWE Divas Championship as well. She left WWE in 2011, but she has made sporadic appearances in recent years.

In September 2020, PWInsider reported that Melina signed with WWE, but Melina disputed the report. She later said that she was in talks with WWE, but a contract was never signed. She previously made a surprise return in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble.

Speaking with MuscleManMalcolm, Melina was asked whether she would be interested in signing a WWE Legends Deal if she was presented with the opportunity. She noted that she was asked about that all the time, and Malcolm asked her to confirm whether she had one or not.

“Don’t believe everything that’s on the Internet, unless you hear it from somebody’s mouth. So many, still to this day, a lot of rumors always going around about me. Still not true. Still not true," Melina said.

Melina was then asked whether she would be open to signing a Legends Deal, and she shook her head. She explained that it depended on what the terms of the agreement were, as she emphasized that she enjoyed having freedom.

"It just all depends on what they take away from your life. Of course, there will be more money and this and that. But it’s not about the money for me. It’s about being able to be free to do what I want with what I was blessed with in wrestling," Melina said.

Zelina Vega previously said that she would love to have Melina back in WWE. Check out her comments here.
