Mercedes Moné: They Haven't Gotten To See The CEO, I'm The Greatest Women's Wrestler Of All-Time

A big statement.

Mercedes Mone is set to make her in-ring debut for AEW at AEW Double or Nothing when she challenges Willow Nightingale for the AEW TBS Championship. It will mark Mone's first match in over a year when she suffered an ankle injury against Willow at NJPW Resurgence 2023.

Nic Nemeth: I'd Rather Not Repeat What John Layfield Said To Me At TNA Emergence

Speaking to Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer, Mone still isn't lacking for confidence despite her year-long layoff.

“They haven’t really got to see the CEO. They know who Sasha Banks is, but the CEO, Mercedes Moné, [is] something they’ve never seen before, and I’m ready to show them. I’m the greatest women’s wrestler of all time, 100 percent," she said.

Speaking about the match, Mone said, “I don’t want to put pressure on myself, because I’ve been doing this for 14 years. I have more excitement than pressure, but I am really nervous as well, just because it’s been a year since I performed, but being in the ring with someone like Willow Nightingale, I know it’s going to be absolutely everything I’ve ever dreamed of. We’re going to go out there and steal the show.”

Mone debuted at AEW Dynamite Big Business in March.
