Michael Cole, during the September 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, revealed that the Viking Raiders have not been seen on programming because Erik is currently sidelined with a foot injury.
Michael Cole did not explain the extent of the foot injury nor how long Erik would be missing action.
The Viking Raiders returned with a new and vicious attitude recently and scored a major win over Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a Viking Rules Match on August 26. The Viking Rules Match was Erik's last match.
