Oku went on to defeat Serpentico in the match.
Oku has confirmed that there has been "contact made" with AEW about what they can potentially do in the future. Fightful Select previously reported that Oku was at least expected to compete at AEW All In. This came after Oku faced MJF at RevPro Summer Sizzler.
In 2023, Oku appeared at AEW All In as a security guard during a weigh-in for the match between Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro.
Fightful will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on August 21st, as well as a post-show podcast on our YouTube channel.
