Mick Foley shares his thoughts.
After being off WWE TV since March of 2017, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley made his return to Monday Night RAW this week and interrupted Elias during one of Elias' songs. Foley was not only there to put Elias' concert on hold as he soon revealed to the WWE Universe that he was set to be the Special Guest Referee for the WWE Universal Championship Hell In A Cell match between the champion Roman Reigns and the challenger Braun Strowman.
Foley has been making the rounds on the interview circuit to promote his '20 Years Of Hell' tour and his referee duties this Sunday. Foley was recently interviewed by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated and during their conversation Foley humbly stated that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman would present a great match regardless if he was involved in it or not.
“Those guys are going to have a great match with or without me, but one of the things I talk about in my show is the element of magic that is either there—or it’s not—in a match,” said Foley. “You can’t predict it, you can’t produce it, but maybe having me in that environment will help create that element of magic to help take the great match they’re almost certain to have and give it just that little something tiny extra to help cement it in the minds of the people who see it.”
Immediately following the 'Hell In A Cell' PPV, one of Mick Foley's '20 Years Of Hell' shows will air on the WWE Network in-which he will be talking to a live audience about his infamous Hell In A Cell match with The Undertaker at the 1998 'King Of The Ring' PPV.
