Mick Foley defends CM Punk after Roman Reigns says CM Punk was never as over as he thought.
CM Punk has been the talk of the town recently as reports and teases continue to hint that the former WWE Champion is returning to wrestling in AEW.
Recently, Roman Reigns made some remarks about CM Punk simply not being as good as he thought he was because he could not move the needle in the same way that John Cena and The Rock do.
Following these remarks, Mick Foley personally took to his Twitter account to stick up for CM Punk, saying that he was as over as ever and that should he ever return to wrestling, he will be just as good and just as over as ever.
CM PUNK WAS DAMN GOOD, AND DAMN OVER.

With one interview he changed the course of the wrestling business. He had great matches with a wide variety of opponents on a nightly basis.
When/if he returns to wrestling, he will once again be damn good and damn over. @CMPunk https://t.co/di1QS7qkZq
Mick Foley and CM Punk briefly had a verbal rivalry in the fall of 2012 and we're at one point slated to be the captains of opposite Survivor Series teams.
Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Rampage: The First Dance, which will be hosted from Chicago's United Center beginning Friday, August 20 at 10 p.m. eastern time.
