Mickie James announced during IMPACT Sacrifice 2023 that she suffered a broken rib and could not compete against Jordynne Grace. As a result, Santino Marella has announced that Grace will get the opportunity to become champion at Rebellion against the winner of the Knockouts 4-Way at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United between Miyu Yamashita, Masha Slamovich, Deonna Purrazzo, and Gisele Shaw.
If Mickie James is healthy enough to defend her title, the match will be a three-way dance.
