After retiring following a loss to Raquel Pennington last November, Miesha 'Cupcake' Tate has become a regular TV analyst for FOX as well as a regular event guest fighter. When taking part in a Q and A in London last week, Tate was asked about a potential appearance in WWE and seemed very interested in the idea.
“I would love to . . . it would be fun. I would love to. I’m open to all kinds of things like that. It would be a lot of fun," Tate replied.
Tate's famous nemesis Ronda Rousey memorably appeared at WrestleMania 31 and has been linked with the company ever since but this is seemingly the first time Tate has commented on the subject. 'Cupcake' undeniably has a tremendous following and became a very popular fighter in her final years as an MMA fighter, but whether or not she'd be considered enough of a needle mover to be brought in for a special appearance is obviously another question all together. Either way, Tate seems to be very happy in retirement after a wild 2016 saw her finally win the UFC title just eight months and two fights before she ended her impressive career.
Tate recently stated she'd also consider coming out of retirement to face Ronda Rousey, but as of now, seems happy with her Fox duties.
