AEW:
- Former WWE referee Mike Chioda, who was released by the company earlier this year, made his AEW debut, serving as the referee for both the TNT Championship match and the main event bout between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy.
- In the main event of tonight's Dynamite, Cassidy scored a victory against Jericho, despite interference from The Inner Circle.
- The Deadly Draw finals will take place on next week's episode of Dynamite.
- Matt Hardy wants revenge against Sammy Guevara but his lust for vengeance may have gotten the best of him tonight.
- A reminder that the next episode of Dynamite will not take place on Wednesday and instead on Saturday, August 22.
- MJF has a message for AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, who responded in a not so kind manner.
- Heather Monroe made her AEW debut tonight, losing to AEW Women's Champion Hikaru Shida in a non-title bout.
- FTR made sure to let Ricky Morton know was the top tag team today.

- NXT Champion Keith Lee was in for a fiery surprise tonight on NXT as he was hit by a fireball and was sent to a medical facility. WWE stated that Lee has left the medical facility.
