Mike Santana says he had discussions with WWE before returning to TNA.
Mike Santana returned to TNA Wrestling at TNA Rebellion, becoming a free agent after departing AEW. Santana was previously with TNA until 2019 when he joined AEW.
Speaking to WhatCulture, Santana confirmed he had talks with WWE following his AEW departure.
"It was mainly [a feeling out]. There were conversations. It was nothing concrete, just seeing where both of our heads were at and seeing how things go. Every conversation that I had was great," said Santana.
Santana & Ortiz talked with WWE in 2019 when they were leaving TNA/IMPACT before ultimately signing with AEW.
