Matt Sydal shows support for his brother.
On the May 28th edition of WWE 205 Live on the WWE Network, Noam Dar went one-on-one with a local competitor named 'Mike Karma' who was soon discovered to be the brother of former IMPACT X Division Champion Matt Sydal who was formerly known as WWE superstar and former WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne. Mike Sydal fell in defeat to Dar and following the match, he posted a screenshot of himself before the match began and Matt Sydal chimed in and noted that he is proud of his brother and specifically enjoyed Nigel McGuinness on the call for the match.

I enjoyed tonight’s talent loaded episode of @WWE205Live. Having @McGuinnessNigel commentate while watching my brother @Yogasault’s match was the highlight of my night. ------

Matt Sydal's contract with IMPACT Wrestling expired in January of this year and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Sydal had offers on the table from WWE and All Elite Wrestling. Sydal last wrestled on May 12th at Revolution Pro Wrestling's 'Mayhem' event and he was last featured on IMPACT TV in November where he teamed with Ethan Page who has inked a two year deal with IMPACT.
