For months Miro (formerly Rusev in WWE), had to watch his real-life wife Lana makeout with Bobby Lashley as part of an on-screen storyline.
It was revealed in September 2019 that Lana had been "cheating" on Miro with Lashley, which led to Lashley and Lana getting "married" on WWE television. On-screen, Lashley and Lana didn't take Miro's feelings into account when they had their makeout sessions. But was it awkward for him to watch his wife kiss another man?
"It's a question you need to ask her and him," Miro told Chris Van Vliet. "I wasn't kissing him. That's what they were told, to use real aggressive kissing. Was it good to watch? No, I never watched it, but I understand it's a work. We're actors. Ask her, she's the one kissing him. Ask him, he's married and has kids. They have to watch the show. Ask them, don't worry about me. But no one ever asks them."
Lana previously stated she was cyberbullied over the storyline with fans taking things too far.
The relationship between Lana and Lashley didn't last long as Lashley asked for a "divorce" just six months after they were "married."
Elsewhere during the interview, Miro revealed there were no plans for Liv Morgan in the angle despite her being revealed as Lana's ex-lover. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
