Mistico scored a big win in his AEW debut.
NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship Mistico, one of the top stars in CMLL, made his debut on the October 20 episode of AEW Rampage. There, he battled Rocky Romero in a Two-Out-of-Fhree Falls match for Mexico's Pound-For-Pound Crown. The two stars battled back and forth in a thrilling showcase for CMLL.
Mistico scored the first fall via submission. Romero took control and evened the score by getting a pin with the Sliced Bread. In the end, Mistico clinched the victory with his signature submission, La Mistica.
