MJF arrives in Mexico ahead of his CMLL debut on Friday.
MJF will defend the AEW American title at the CMLL Viernes Espectacular event on August 2nd vs Templario, debuting the new title design in his video challenge for the event.
On Thursday evening, CMLL took to social media to announce that MJF had arrived in Mexico ahead of his bout at Viernes Espectacular.
"I just arrived in the airport in Mexico. The airport smells horrible. The people smell worse. I'm really looking forward to beating Templario in record time and going back home to the only country that matters, the United States of America."

MJF will also head to the UK next weekend to face off with Michael Oku for the American Championship before moving onto AEW All In where he will rematch Will Ospreay for the gold.
