MJF comments on Sting's last match.
Sting is set to compete in his last match at AEW Revolution, though no opponent or opponents have been officially announced.
Fans have fantasy booked Sting challenging for the AEW World Title against MJF, either as his last match or during his retirement tour.
Speaking to Scott Fishman of TVInsider, MJF was asked about Sting's last match.
"I get contacted by a lot of people saying they want Sting and me to go at it. As far as Sting goes and being in a match, Darby Allin should be involved in some way. A thousand percent. If not, I think that’s weird," he said.
Darby has been involved in every Sting match since he returned to the ring in cinematic fashion at AEW Revolution 2021.
Sting will team with Darby, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara to take on Powerhouse Hobbs, Konosuke Takeshita, Ricky Starks, & Big Bill at AEW Worlds End.
