MJF believes in AEW.
MJF made his return to the promotion at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024 after spending 2023 teasing the bidding war of 2024 between WWE and AEW for his signature. He would pledge his future to AEW, revealing a tattoo he had gotten to celebrate re-signing with the promotion.
While speaking to Fox 5 New York in a recent interview, MJF was asked about re-signing with the company. MJF noted that he believes in AEW, and believes that it is where the best wrestle.
"Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because, Tony, is paying me an exorbitant amount of money. But outside of that, I also, I believe in AEW. I believe that it's where the best wrestle. I believe that we have some of the most top-tier elite talent you get to see in the world today."
Since returning, MJF faced off with Rush on this past week's AEW Dynamite in a physical matchup, and found out after that he would be facing Hechicero at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door at the end of this month.
