MJF claims he has not seen "Rocky."
MJF's love of America has drawn comparisons to Apollo Creeds from "Rocky," but if you ask MJF, he hasn't seen "Rocky."
"I’ve never seen Rocky before," MJF told Cultaholic.
Asked if he's seen any of them, MJF replied, "No. Can you explain the plot to me? Rocky, is it about a rock?"
It was explained to MJF that the movie is about a boxer.
"What a weird name for a boxer. That’s odd," said MJF.
It was further explained that (spoilers) Rocky does not win the first fight against Apollo Creed, but he has his pride.
"Why would you have pride? You lost. That sounds absurd. Who won, this Apollo Creed character? I’ll look into him. He sounds cool," said MJF.
Maybe he and another former AEW Champion can have a movie night and watch "Rocky."
