MJF channels his inner Scott Steiner.
In a backstage promo that aired on the September 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF looked ahead to his AEW World Championship defense at Dynamite: Grand Slam, where he'll defend the title against either Samoa Joe or Roderick Strong.
After roasting Strong and once again telling him to shake it off, MJF turned his attention to Samoa Joe, channeled his inner Scott Steiner, and started to use a little bit of Maxwell math. MJF proclaimed that he has a 141 & 2/3 percent chance to win at Grand Slam, while also stating that Joe only had a 8 1/3 percent chance to win the bout.
According to @The_MJF the numbers don't lie and they spell disaster for Samoa Joe if he wins tonight on #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/Jcs5N1gQRV

MJF's promo was nearly the same promo, word for word, as Scott Steiner's famous 'Steiner Math' promo from 2008. Steiner cut that promo on Samoa Joe leading up to their match at the Sacrifice pay-per-view.
Fightful will update fans on the result of the Roderick Strong and Samoa Joe match after it has concluded.
