MLW Battle Riot V To Air On REELZ On April 25

MLW Battle Riot V will air on REELZ, and a date has been announced for the match.

During the March 21 episode of MLW Underground, Major League Wrestling announced that Battle Riot V would air on REELZ, but a specific date was not provided.

In an update, MLW confirmed that Battle Riot V will air at 10 p.m. ET on REELZ. MLW CEO Court Bauer expressed his gratitude for MLW's partnership with REELZ in the official announcement.

From MLW:

MLW today announced Battle RIOT V will air exclusively on REELZ on Tuesday April 25 at 10e/p.

A mash-up of a battle Royale and anything goes street fight, this super-sized main event will feature 40 wrestlers with new participants entering the ring every 60 seconds.

“The biggest match of the year in Major League Wrestling will have its biggest audience ever, thanks to our partnership with REELZ,” said MLW CEO Court Bauer.

There will be surprises! There will be legends! There will be WTF entries… and there will be no disqualifications!

Elimination is by pinfall, submission or by throwing an individual over the top rope.

Anything is possible in a Battle Riot

The winner gets a World Heavyweight Title Shot anywhere, anytime! It could be that night; it could be in 6 months. The challenger has the key to unlock an instant title shot against whoever the champion is!

As previously reported by Variety, MLW's deal with REELZ wraps after ten weeks, and REELZ has stated that no decisions had been made. More information is available here.

MLW will hold Battle Riot V on April 8 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The winner of the Battle Riot will earn a shot at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. Jacob Fatu won the match in 2022 and went on to challenge Alex Hammerstone for the title.
