Shane Strickland will be defending his Championship at Battle Riot.
On July 19th, Major League Wrestling will be hosting the Battle Riot event featuring the forty-man Battle Riot match which will be a battle royal with staggered entrances and a street fight atmosphere. Sami Callihan was announced as a participant in the battle riot but he was recently advertised as challenging Shane Strickland for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
The match will be Strickland's second defense since winning the Championship earlier this year. He beat Matt Riddle for the vacant title in April and then beat Pentagon Jr in May.
Also on the card will be a MLW Tag Team Championship match as the reigning Champions Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix will defend against Drago and Aerostar. Pentagon and Fenix have both been announced for the Battle Riot match as well.
