MLW Highlights Superfan Vladimir Abouzeide With Special Video And Award

MLW honors superfan Vladimir Abouzeide.

In a post on its website, MLW shared a video in which Abouzeide is honored. Titled "Vladimir Abouzeide: King of All Superfans", the video shows Abouzeide sitting at ringside at an MLW show. Narrator Eli Harris noted that, with Abouzeide's passion, he has become as beloved as any fighter in the squared circle, and his love for wrestling is magic. The video named Abouzeide as the wrestling world's number one superfan. Abouzeide was also presented with the 2022 King of All Superfans Award, and he received an ovation from the live crowd.

WWE previously worked on a documentary, titled "Superfan: The Story of Vladimir", and it was set to premiere in 2021, but the program has never released. Abouzeide appeared at WrestleMania 7 Night One in 2021 and announced the documentary alongside Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The duo also recognized him as the first certified WWE SuperFan and gave him a plaque.

The preview for the documentary read as follows:

"The Story of Vladimir tells the life story of Vladimir Abouzeide, one of the most devoted and recognizable fans in WWE history, who came to Manhattan from Haiti as a child and quickly found his passion for living through the lens of sports-entertainment."
