Muhammad Hassan comments on his time working with Vince McMahon.
Muhammad Hassan was a short-lived character during the WWE's Ruthless Aggression Era. Hassan's character played directly off of the prejudice that Arab Americans faced in the wake of the 9/11 tragedy. While he did not last a full year in WWE, Hassan worked with legends like Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. As such, he also worked closely with Vince McMahon during his time with the company.
Speaking about his time with WWE during a recent video on Maven's YouTube channel, Hassan says that Vince McMahon was always personally great to him. Even though he can't speak to any of the news that has come out about Vince since then, he has fond memories of working with the former WWE Chairman.
"Vince was always great to me. For everything that has happened afterwards, I can’t speak of, but for when I was there at the time working with Vince, he was always good to me. That character was kind of like his baby. I remember flying on his personal jet going to Buffalo, which was so cool, flying on his personal jet to a press conference with JBL. I never had a problem with him, he was always very open and accessible to me.”
Vince McMahon has since stepped aside from all WWE duties in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations from a former WWE employee, Janel Grant. Learn more here.
