Mustafa Ali Doesn't Care Why Ciampa Attacked Him On 4/25 Raw, He Wants To Be United States Champion

Mustafa Ali is back and he really wants the WWE United States Championship.

After openly requesting his release on social media, Mustafa Ali returned to WWE television on the April 25 episode of Monday Night Raw, marking the first time he had been on television since October, and set his sights on the new WWE United States Champion, Austin Theory. Theory was a guest on Miz TV, and The Miz was not shy about asking Mustafa Ali about his desire to leave WWE, jokingly asking him if he even still worked there.

Mustafa Ali would defeat The Miz but immediately be jumped by Tommaso Ciampa, who seems to have dropped his first name as well.

Speaking on WWE Raw Talk after his return, Mustafa Ali made it clear that the other distractions such as Miz and Ciampa, he is solely focused on the WWE United States Championship.

“Listen, yes, I had a game plan: come out challenge Theory for the United States Championship,” Ali began. "But somehow, someway, I ended up in the match with The Miz. But I still got the win. The plan is the same. I beat The Miz. Now I have one man, and one man only, that's on my radar. His name is Theory, and he has the United States Championship.”

Ali said that he did not understand why Ciampa did what he did but it doesn't change the game plan.

“Attacked, brutalized, blindsided. Listen, I know exactly who Ciampa is. okay. But, why he did what he did? I don't know. Honestly, right now, I don't care. One man, and one man only: Theory and the United States Championship,” he said.
