MVP hurts people and does his best to look good doing it.
MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are known as the Hurt Syndicate in AEW. They're in the business of hurting people and they enjoy presenting themselves as well-dressed businessmen. Of course, beating people up while wearing a suit isn't practical, and leave it to RJ City to point that out to MVP.
On the latest episode of Hey! (EW), RJ City asked MVP point blank if it was weird to fight in suits. MVP responded very succinctly, saying, "No, because we're professionals. We're businessmen. We are in the business of hurting people."
When RJ asked if it was at all difficult to throw a punch while wearing a blazer, MVP, again, shut that idea down.
"No. For many years, I worked as a bouncer in a nightclub on South Beach, and I never, ever had anybody choke me out in my suit."
There you have it. You can hurt people and look damn stylish at the same time.
Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley recently picked up their first set of gold in AEW, the AEW World Tag Team Championship. Still, Benjamin is hoping he can capture that elusive World Championship during his tenure with All Elite Wrestling.
