MVP: Hurt Syndicate Will Have A Long Run With AEW Tag Titles, Vacate, And Be Onto Singles Titles

The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) are the reigning AEW Tag Team Champions, winning the titles from Private Party (Zay & Quen) on the January 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite.

The AEW tag team division is becoming reloaded with Hounds of Hell (Buddy Matthews & Brody King) emerging, the Gunns (Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn) returning, and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) refocusing their efforts.

Speaking on Mostly Sports With Mark Titus and Brandon Walker, MVP commented on Hurt Syndicate's future goals.

"Right now, we’re going to have a nice long run with the tag titles because we want everybody to understand that our group dynamic is in place. When we’re ready, we’ll vacate these titles and we’ll be onto most likely the AEW World Title and the TNT Title," he said.

The Hurt Syndicate will defend the AEW Tag Team Titles against The Gunns on Wednesday's AEW Dynamite.
