MVP Provides Update On Knee Injury

MVP is providing an update on his knee injury.

In recent months, MVP has been walking around with a cane due to an injury he suffered while competing in the ring on Monday Night Raw.

While most of his duties on television only require him to be the mouthpiece for the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, the former WWE United States Champion can still provide as an in-ring competitor should a story call for such a need.

Speaking on WWE Spanish social media channels for their weekly WWE brunch segment, MVP revealed that he is trying to avoid surgery and is currently looking into having one more procedure done but should that procedure not work, he may need to go under the knife for arthroscopic surgery.

"As many of you know, my knee has been bothering me for some time now. I injured it a few months ago in the ring and while it’s better, it hasn’t healed yet. We’ve been trying to avoid surgery. We’re gonna try one more procedure and if it still doesn’t work, then I might have to get some minor arthroscopic surgery for the knee. But, not yet. We’re still gonna try another treatment first."

Recently, The Hurt Business faction downsized from four members that were holding two of the championships on Monday Night Raw to just Bobby Lashley alongside MVP. In a recent interview, Lashley said that the downsize hurt him. Learn more here.
