Naomi hinting at what's to come?
Tonight is the night when the hype that has been surrounding WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV 'Evolution' comes to fruition. Live on the WWE Network from the Nassau Coliseum, the women of the sports-entertainment company reach for the brass ring to secure their spots in history on this historic day. One of the focal points of WWE women's revolution is the possibility of the company introducing Women's Tag Team Titles. The likes of Sasha Banks, The IIconics, Bayley and others have all teased the idea of Women's Tag Team Championships and the former two-time SmackDown Live Women's Champion Naomi was the latest to tease it too.
Coming out of 'Evolution', the SmackDown crew will have a live event in Macon, Georgia and to promote the show Naomi was interviewed by 'The Telegraph' and during the interview Naomi stated that she can not wait for the Women's Tag Team Titles and she wants to be the first to hold them.
“I cannot wait for the women’s tag team titles. I want to be the first to hold them - being married to a tag team specialist,” Naomi said. “I love watching tag team wrestling. I think it is so exciting. I think I got a pretty good partner to make history with, and that’s Asuka. I am hoping that’s the next step.”
