For the better part of her 16 year career, Naomi has been revered by the crowd as she smiled and danced along to cheers.
When Jade Cargill entered the picture, Naomi got fed up with someone new taking her spot, attacking Cargill in November and pushing her off the loading dock.
"It’s definitely freeing, in a way, because I don’t feel like....dang, I’ve danced, I’ve done everything to try to show you people that I care and that I want to be here and that if y’all ride with me, I’m going to give you everything, but y’all don’t care about that. It is freeing. I feel like a lot of pressure is off of me that I don’t have to prove and try to compete with perfection and all this nonsense. At this point, you’re either with me or you’re not. If you’re not, I advise you to proceed with caution," Naomi told David Shoemaker and Kazeem Famuyide on The Ringer's Masked Man Show.
Naomi is set to face Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 41.
Elsewhere during the interview, Naomi commented on being involved in a character-driven story for the first time in her career. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
