Fans haven't seen Naomi in a WWE ring since July 2019 when she wrestled Sarah Logan on WWE Main Event. She was advertised for a live event in October 2019 but did not end up competing at the event. She stated in September that she was handling health issues and would be back when the time was right.
While it is unknown when Naomi will return to the ring, should she return to the ranks of the women's tag team division, she does have two partners in mind.
"I've been partnered up with everybody and they momma. My ideal [partner] would either be Bianca [Belair], I think she's phenomenal. She's strong, athletic, and has all the qualities. I feel like our characters would vibe well together. Another is Ember [Moon]. A hell of an athlete and we haven't really seen everything she's capable of. She's incredible. I would love to be teamed up with someone who I vibe with and relate with ,and those two are definitely it," she told So Catch at a WWE 2K20 media event.
Naomi teamed with Carmella at WWE Elimination Chamber 2019, challenging for the Women's Tag Team Championships. The duo was the first team eliminated in the contest. Ember Moon is currently sidelined with a ruptured Achilles while Bianca Belair is in NXT.
