Natalya: Being Part Of Great Stories And Winning The Women's Intercontinental Title Are My Goals

Natalya says the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship is her big goal for 2025. She also wants to be featured in a storyline that fans can sink their teeth into.

Natalya is a WWE legend, holding multiple Guinness World Records for her consistency during her tenure with the company. She recently re-signed, and during a new interview with DS of Ring the Belle, she spoke about the conversations she had with Triple H during her negotiations and spoke about her goals for her career moving forward.

Among those goals, Natalya said she wants to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. She went on to cite her family's legacy with the men's equivalent to that championship and the IC Title's reputation as the workhorse championship.

"I was signing my new deal with WWE in June of last year. I had some really great conversations, especially with Triple H," she said. "So I think with Triple H, he's really, really big on storytelling, and he's really big on finding the right moments for everyone, not just the women of WWE, but for the men of WWE, too. If you look at the way he books PLEs and our shows, it's everything. I feel like there's a rhyme and a reason, and it's very, very strategic. So my goal, and I've expressed this to everybody that I work with, especially the powers that be, is to be a part of fun stories, and too, for me, it's, it's not so much about winning and losing matches as it is about being a part of stories. So I feel like my goal for this year is to win the IC Title because I feel like it, for me, the IC title is a title for the workhorses, and so, with my family connection and just everything that I've worked for, I would love to be a Women's IC Champion. I would love to be a part of some really great storylines."

Natalya continued to express faith in Triple H and his ability to turn careers around with the right storyline. She used Nia Jax as an example of someone who's been able to take advantage of the new regime and have a great resurgence in her career.

"So I have so much faith in Triple H that we're going to get there. It's just that timing is everything, waiting for that right storyline. Seeing how he's turned so many people. Nia Jax, in the last year coming back under this booking with Triple H, she has had the run of a lifetime, and she's been able to prove to everybody why she is Women's Championship material. She's elevated so many other women. Women have elevated her, too, but she's done the best work of her career. I think she's fantastic," said Nattie. "I'm excited for when I get to be a part of a storyline that the fans can really get connected to. So, that is my goal for this year, and I'm looking forward to it."
