Nepal Women’s Wrestling Foundation sets a world record.

The promotion made history on Wednesday, May 29, as they hosted a wrestling bout between Dani Mo and Yunika at the Kalapathar in the Khumbu Rural Municipality of Solukhumbu, Nepal. The match was held at an altitude of 5,644 meters, the highest altitude that a match has ever been hosted at.

Yunika, real name Bhagwati Khadka, believes that the record will be soon be recognized. Yunika has long aspired to set a world record through wrestling.
