Britt Baker is the undisputed face of the AEW women's division.
Dr. Britt Baker DMD won the AEW Women's Title at Double or Nothing, submitting Hikaru Shida with the lockjaw. Shida tried to roll into a crucifix pin, but Baker rolled back out to keep the hold intact. Rebel got involved in the match, accidentally hitting Baker with the crutch but also distracting the referee long enough to allow Baker to hit a curb stomp onto the Women's Championship.
After the bout, Baker not only celebrated with Rebel, not Reba, but was greeted by Tony Schiavone at the top of the ramp, who embraced the new champion.

This marks Baker's first reign as the AEW Women's Champion. Shida spent over one year as AEW Women's Champion, winning the title from Nyla Rosa at AEW Double or Nothing 2020 on May 23, 2020. AEW introduced a new and bigger Women's Championship on Friday's Dynamite.
