Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods look to go for the tag team Grand Slam.
Pretty Deadly, Kit Wilson and Elton Prince, told their version of a Christmas Story on Tuesday, December 6's episode of NXT. With a heavy focus on a lack of competition, their Christmas wish would be answered by the end of the night.
While they wrapped up their story with the proclamation that 2023 would be their year since there was no competition, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day arrived on the scene and revealed that they would be challenging pretty deadly for the Tag Team Championship on Saturday, December 10th at Deadline.

Should Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods win this match, they would become the second team to win all available WWE Tag Team Championship belt. The first team was The Revival (FTR).
