Wheeler Yuta expands his legacy.
Wheeler Yuta has captured his first major championship at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor 2022 by defeating Josh Woods for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship. Yuta picked up the victory with a backslide counter.
During this match, William Regal was on the call. Over on AEW television, Wheeler is attempting to impress William Regal and the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club (Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley).
Now, his name is alongside that of Bryan Danielson’s on the list of Pure Champions.

After the bout, Tony Khan announced that Yuta is officially All Elite. Yuta wrestled his first match in AEW in June 2021 and has been regularly featured on television as part of the Best Friends (Chuckie T, Trent, Orange Cassidy).
