The belt has been retrieved and it's back on a familiar man.
Xavier Woods, with help from Shayna Baszler, managed to regain the UpUpDownDown Championship from Mia Yim, who "mysteriously" left and took the title with her through the Forbidden Door.
With the title back in his possession, a new champion had to be crowned.
On July 2, an eight-person WWE 2K22 tournament was held to find a new home for the title.
First round action saw Riddle defeat Becky Lynch, Miz defeat Liv Morgan, Seth Rollins defeat AJ Styles, and Kofi Kingston defeat Shayna Baszler.
In the semi-finals, Riddle would get past Miz and Rollins would better Kingston.
Playing as themselves in WWE 2K22, Rollins defeated Riddle to capture the UUDD Championship for a second time.
