New WWE United States Champion Crowned Tonight At 'Fastlane'

"The Viper" has added on to his already impressive resume'.

Tonight during the SmackDown Live exclusive 'Fastlane' PPV from Columbus, OH, Bobby Roode put the WWE United States Championship on the line against Randy Orton. After a methodical and calculated bout by both men, WWE's grizzled veteran Randy Orton would add on to his stacked accomplishments.

As noted in the tweet above, Orton is now a Grand-Slam Champion in the WWE having held the World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Intercontinental Title, Tag Team Titles, WWE Championship & and now, the United States Championship. Randy Orton's celebration was short-lived as his long-time rival and the man who has instigated this feud between Orton and Roode, Jinder Mahal made his way to the ring and rained on Orton's parade. One interruption followed another as a disappointed Bobby Roode planted both Mahal and Orton with a "Glorious DDT" standing tall, but without the U.S. Title.
