Nia Jax Talks WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Appearance, Doing More During COVID Times

Nia Jax returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble, entering at number 30 in the women's Royal Rumble.

Jax was released by WWE in November 2021 and had not wrestled since her release.

Appearing on Highspots Sign It Live, Jax was asked if she knew about her Rumble appearance a month ahead of time.

"No, I did not," she replied. Speaking about her gear, she said, "I had it very quickly rushed."

The light-hearted appearance had plenty of "My Hole" jokes and free-flowing language and when it was mentioned that fans learned on Saturday that Jax wasn't afraid to let curse words fly, Jax joked, "I didn't realize I was cussing that much." She said she knew she was in trouble when her mom used her full name when they talked.

When signing various photos and items with "My Hole," Jax at one point said, "Good ol' COVID times. That was my favorite, we got to do a lot more."

Though she entered the women's Royal Rumble at number 30, Jax lasted under two minutes, though it took nearly a dozen women to get her over the top rope.
