Nic Nemeth issues a challenge.
Nic Nemeth won the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo night one on February 23 by defeating David Finlay.
One night later, he teamed with Ryusuke Taguchi to best Finlay & Gedo.
After the match, Nemeth challenged Hiroshi Tanahashi to a match, saying he would put the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title on the line.
Tanahashi accepted the challenged.
A date for the bout was not given. Tanahashi was not medically cleared to compete at night two of NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo due to an ankle injury.
