Nic Nemeth will defend the gold.
At TNA Emergence, Nic Nemeth retained the TNA World Championship by defeating Josh Alexander in an Iron Man Match.
In a digital exclusive, Nic Nemeth addressed the crowd after TNA Emergence went off the air. He brought up former world champion Moose, who said that he was coming for the title after The System beat The Hardys, Mike Santana, and Joe Hendry earlier in the show. Nemeth called Moose a little bitch and said that he begged other companies for opportunities. Nemeth noted that Moose was protected by his group, but he had the former champion in his sights for a world title match at TNA Victory Road. He vowed to pin Moose and prove that he was the best.
