Steve Maclin will kick off his title reign on the April 20 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT announced that IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin will have a Changing of the Guard Ceremony, just a few days after he won the title at the Rebellion pay-per-view.

Plus, Nick Aldis will speak on the show.
The former TNA World Heavyweight Champion returned to IMPACT Wrestling at the IMPACT Rebellion pay-per-view on April 16. He joined the commentary team ahead of the world title match, where Steve Maclin beat KUSHIDA to win the gold. When Maclin attacked IMPACT President Scott D'Amore after the match, Aldis confronted the champion.
IMPACT announced that fans will hear from Aldis on the April 20 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

In November 2022, Aldis announced he would be leaving the NWA when his contract was up. The company suspended him, and the two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion entered free agency on January 1, 2023.
