Nick Aldis speaks on the current team running WWE and the new heights possible for the promotion.
Nick Aldis was on the outside looking in for quite a while as it pertains to WWE. Now, he's a part of the team both in front of and behind the cameras. WWE is currently experiencing a boom period as Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H, has taken the reins of creative following the exit of Vince McMahon.
Speaking about the current state of WWE with Chris Van Vliet, Nick Aldis would say that he truly believes the promotion has no ceiling. He also put over Nick Khan, Lee Fitting, and the team helping bring WWE to these new frontiers.
"Lee Fitting has done such an incredible job," Aldis said. "For a guy of his caliber. In his mind, they are small and simple kind of changes that he’s made, but to us, we’re like, ‘Woah.’ Some of the shots he’s been coming up with and developing are absolutely incredible. The stuff with Sami and Jey up in the concourse of the arena and coming down. You go, ‘How did they not do this before?’ Sometimes, you can’t see the forest through the trees.
"There is no ceiling for the WWE. Literally, none," Aldis continued. "These are conversations that have happened internally. We don’t have to be almost as big as the NFL. Why not? We’re both going to be on Netflix. Have to go more global. When you think about where the company started and all the way through, ‘It can’t possibly get any bigger.’ Not according to Nick Khan."
Nick Aldis has yet to perform for WWE. Still, he's open to returning to the squared circle as a wrestler if that is what WWE wants from him. Learn more here.
