Nick Gage saves his career.
Nick Gage is once again the GCW World Champion, defeating Jon Moxley at GCW Fight Club. Gage put his career on the line in the match.
Moxley was in control of things after tossing Gage through a glass pane and hitting a death rider, but W. Morrissey & Stokely Hathaway hit the ring as Gage went to the outside. Morrissey chokeslamed Moxley onto a barbedwire glass pane before exiting.
Gage finished Moxley off with two piledrivers and a chokebreaker for the victory.

Morrissey & Stokely are part of The Firm, which is a stable on retainer for MJF. MJF holds the poker chip that gives him an AEW World Title match at any sanctioned event. Moxley is the reigning AEW World Champion.
After the match, the GCW locker room and Gage showed their respect and support for Moxley. Gage said, "that other bullshit company" wouldn't let Moxley wrestle for GCW anymore and Moxley said he was going to wrestle where he wanted. Gage then said he was going to keep going.
On October 7 it was announced that Moxley had signed a five-year extension with AEW that would see him work exclusively for AEW and international partners such as NJPW.
