Nikkita Lyons Has Pitched 'Name That Rhymes With Glam Slam' For The Name Of Her Split Pin Finish

Nikkita Lyons made her NXT debut on the February 22 episode of the show and immediately went viral with a victory over Kayla Inlay.

The viral moment happened at the end as Lyons hit the splits onto Inlay, leading to the pin. Lyons has kept the move as her finish, but there is no name for it just yet.

When asked if she has a name for it, Lyons told Ryan Satin on Out of Character, "Yes, I have, but I don't know if I can say it out loud. I don't know if I should. I pitched, and they loved it, but they asked...they were like, 'probably not.' I'm actually in the process of trying to figure out something catchy, but also something people would love saying and something that could become a shirt. I'm in that process."

The next question was, "if you could take a finisher from a WWE legend and use it as your own, what would it be?"

When answering, Lyons gave more insight into her pitched name.

"Honestly, the Glam Slam, from Beth Phoenix. I look up to Beth Phoenix, very much. My idea for my split pin, rhymes with that, also. Her finish is awesome and I would be honored if I was able to do that," she said.

Lyons noted that she has not met Phoenix as of yet.

Lyons most recently competed NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, defeating Arianna Grace in the first round.
