- NJPW has released the match order for the G1 Climax Block Finals on October 17 as well as what needs to happen for every wrestler still not eliminated to advance to the tournament finals:
* Yuya Uemura vs. Gabriel Kidd
* B Block: Toru Yano vs. YOSHI-HASHI
* B Block: Hirooki Goto vs. Juice Robinson
* B Block: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
* B Block: Tetsuya Naito vs. KENTA
* B Block: EVIL vs. SANADA
What needs to happen for each wrestler to advance:
* EVIL: A win over SANADA OR a draw against SANADA and a Naito loss or draw
* SANADA: A win over EVIL and a Naito loss
* Tetsuya Naito: A win over KENTA and an EVIL loss or draw
- NJPW also announced that there will be live English commentary for the October 16, 17 and 18 shows which are the G1 Climax A Block Finals, B Block Finals and G1 Finals, respectively.
- WWE stock opened at $41.34 per share when the stock market opened this morning.
- Stardom announced a six-woman tag team main event for its October 17 show.
