The card for New Year Dash is typically a mystery. The event serves as a set-up for the upcoming year with a major angle taking place. For example, in 2016, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks laid out AJ Styles and officially took control of Bullet Club. 2017 marked the return of Suzuki-gun and 2018 saw Jay White turn down an offer from Bullet Club. 2019 was notable for what didn't happen as The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, Cody, and Marty Scurll) were not on the show after the formation of All Elite Wrestling.
The Young Bucks recently stated they were supposed to be on the 2019, but were taken off. You can find their full comments by clicking here.
