Aussie Open will defend the NJPW STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship for the first time at NJPW STRONG Fighting Spirit Unleashed.
NJPW has announced that Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis will put the titles on the line against Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson at the STRONG taping on August 21. Aussie Open won the gold at the High Alert taping by emerging victorious in the finals of the tournament that determined the inaugural champions.
The company also added three other tag team matches to the card. Tom Lawlor and JR Kratos of Team Filthy will face Cody Chhun & Jordan Cruz. Plus, Christopher Daniels and Yuya Uemura will take on Bad Dude Tito and Shane Haste of TMDK. Finally, The DKC and Kevin Knight of the LA Dojo will clash with Bateman and Barrett Brown of Stray Dog Army.
